I started playing Call of Duty 2 again over the weekend. i got stuck at one part in the British campaign like a year ago and tried it several times since then with not much luck but finally managed to get past the tight spot on Sunday and completed that campaign and moved into the American campaign. Now I am stuck on top of a hill surrounded by enemy mortar teams with my sniper rifle and no support from the rest of the squad. Everytime I try to spot a mortar I get shot in the back or a bunch of grenades dropped on my head. I really like the Call of Duty series of games but I'm to the point where I start wishing it would just end already.
I cleaned up my mp3 collection and made a fresh new playlist for the Squeezebox the other day. I think the random play on the Squeezebox is messed up though because it seems like I hear a handful of songs over and over again and then there's others I never hear. I'll have to look into that some more.
No word on a beta key for Quake Live yet. I sent my email months ago. I don't know why I'm so psyched to play Quake Live when the original Quake 3 Arena is still installed on my computer and I could start up a server with bots and be playing instantly. Ah well, if anybody has an invite they want to send me, give me a holler. Battlefield Heroes has been delayed till the end of the year so I'm not holding my breath for that one. I did start running a Battlefield 2 demo server and Battlefield 2142 retail server but shut them down because nobody was playing on them.
I was looking for something on the network at work the other day and saw the VMK directory. There was nothing in it though. That made me sad. That was a fun game.
