It's a good thing developers put out game demos. If they didn't I would have purchased Bioshock and Grid only to find out they don't work with my current videocard. I just installed the Grid demo only to get a 'Your graphics card does not support Shader 3.0' error message. looks like it's time to upgrade the old videocard. I should probably not be getting any new games at the moment anyway. I still need to finish F.E.A.R. and Enemy Territory Quake Wars I received from the last two Christmases. Those should keep me busy until I can save up some money for a new videocard.

I really need to invest in a gaming headset with the headphones and mic. It's tough to type quick in Team Fortress 2 that there is a level 3 sentry up high around the corner to the right of the cart when you are in a firefight. I dunno. Maybe if I took some speed typing classes that would help but I will have to check out the prices and features of headsets to see if I can get a good quality one for cheap.

The DOH! Network Left 4 Dead 2 server has been updated from the demo version to a Left 4 Dead 2 full version server. I don't plan on buying the game anytime soon but don't let that stop you from shooting zombies. You might want to avoid the server if you see more than 4 players in there though as my connection is not really good for more than 4 players and tends to get really laggy.

Click here to visit the official Gossip Gamers website! The Gossip Gamers website mentioned that the full StarCraft II website is now online. I don't remember what it looked like before. I don't even know how I got on the Gossip Gamers website to read this in the first place. But anyway, the full StarCraft II website is live and you can check it out. There is no word on an actual release date yet though.

I checked out the demo for Left 4 Dead 2 over the weekend and it did what I had hoped it would do. Killed all interest in picking up the game. There is not enough new content to make me want to spend $45. The new melee weapons are funny for about 5 minutes and I guess I am not hard core enough to know what else would require a whole new game instead of this being an expansion pack to the original. Most likely it will get a couple of bug fix updates and we'll get Left 4 Dead 3 in about 8 months. I'll stick with Team Fortress 2.

If you are planning to pick up Disney/Pixar's Up before November 14, you can get an additional $10 off by printing out the coupon on the official Up DVD site. Most places have it for $19.99 so if you go to Best Buy and they have it for $34.99, ask them to price match Fry's or Wal-mart and they will ring it up as $19.99. Give them the coupon and you've got yourself Up on DVD/Blu-ray and digital copy for $9.99 plus tax.

If you payed 500 Wii points for the Wii Internet Channel, you have until December 31 to use your 500 Wii points credit on any Wiiware or Virtual Console games on Nintendo.com.

Sweet! A demo has been released for Left 4 Dead 2! This may be just enough to get wanting the game out of my system. I am intrigued by the new weapons and campaigns but not $45 intrigued. but that could change if you download the Left 4 Dead 2 demo and start playing right now.

DOH! I totally missed the Team Fortress 2 Halloween sale. TF2 for only $2.50. I coulda picked up a bunch of extra copies for Nopal and some other people who haven't gotten around to purchasing the game yet so they would have no excuse for not playing. Ah well. Maybe they will have a sale again around Christmas.

Screen Junkies has a promo trailer for the new George Romero movie Survival of the Dead. This looks like classic Romero zombie action. I can't wait to see the whole thing.

Alice is back! Look for the return of American McGee's Alice 2 in 2011. Action Trip has the Alice 2 trailer to get you psyched.
