Only a few more weeks till the DOH! Network offices move to their new location. Thought I would set up Plex Media Server so it could run offline if internet takes a while to get set up but upon trying to start Plex, it can't find the server. Help docs say make sure to install the latest version. Tried that but still no luck. I saw one of the download files is for a Drobo so I figure 'Hey, I'll run it from my Drobo.' Plug in the Drobo and the drives are all failing. Great! can anything just work anymore? Looked in to Kodi Media Server but I think it thinks I'm going to be running and using it on the server. Don't have a gui on the server. Plus it looks like it has a bunch of dependency files that I don't feel like installing. After resetting and letting the Drobo do repairs to the drives., I got that up and running without reporting errors and installed the Plex app on that. Turns out that one has the same issue where the server setup tab doesn't show up that the Linux server does.

Update on Mad Max: I am no playing in windowed mode to try to keep the game from crashing and it still crashed. I looked in the Nvidia contorl panel and one of my two GeForce 460s is no longer showing.

DOH! The Woolsey Fire® has killed the internet in my area. Seems Spectrum only has one hub for my area and it's on fire. Good to know that Steam has an offline mode that lets you play games without an internet connection at least like 25 minutes of Mad Max. It would also be nice if occasionally when Max goes into an enemy base to liberate it if he was able to save some people too. A lot of bases have human remains but the only place where Max has found a prisoner so far is in one of the friendly bases.

Looks like my videocard is on its last legs as I have to turn the settings on Mad Max way down to play for more than 10-15 minutes. Now I can play for at least 25 minutes.
