Man, Friday should have been trailer day rather than Tuesday this week. I added new trailers for National Treasure, Taxi, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. Check them out on the Spiff Trailers Page.
The 705 crew added a new movie today that I think is one of their funniest yet. Check out 2nd W.M.E. on the official 705 site.
I just checked out McDonald's music giveaway deal with Sony where you buy a Big Mac and get a free song download and all I have to say is what a load of crap! Sure I got a song I was looking for but the stupid Sony SonicStage piece of crap software encoded the frikkin song as an ATRAC file, Sony's stupid proprietary minidisc format. I don't have a frikkin minidisc!!! Nobody i know has a frikkin minidisc!!! I can't even find the stupid music file to back it up and when I try to burn it to cd, I get a message that it can't be backed up to dics. And most likely I will have to reformat my computer again in a month or two so I will lose the stupid track anyway. What frikkin load of crap. Avoid Sony's music download!! I can feel my arteries hardening from that Big Mac too.
Doh! I'm not posting much because the main computer here at the DOH! Network had to be reformatted again. I made it like a month since the last format but in my attempts to run the setup disk again to fix an annoying blue screen/automatic reboot, the computer got stuck in a loop in the setup because it couldn't find a dll during install. So I was unable to repair the problem and had to completely reformat and now the fresh install is giving me problems too.
I did manage to post some new trailers for a nice animated movie called 'Rex Steele: Nazi Smasher' and 'Saw'. Check them out and more on the DOH! Network Spiff Trailers page.
The trailer link for Michael Moore's 'Fahrenheit 9/11' on the Spiff Trailers page should be working again. Apple helped him out by hosting the clip and they are much better at handling the traffic the clip was getting. Also added new clips for 'I, Robot', 'The Aviator' and 'Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Events'.
Saw this over on Shack News. Some guy built an armored bulldozer and then went on a rampage through Granby, Colorado. Hmmmm. Coulda been egrep. He's in that area this weekend making a public appearance. Could be he couldn't find any smokes and went A-Team on the residents of Granby.
Looks like I'm going to have to reformat the computer again this weekend because I keep getting quick blue screens to automatic reboot. I just reformatted like a month and a half ago and haven't installed more than like five programs I had on the computer before. I hate computers. This is why I could never be in the I.S. department at work. Computers just don't like me.
Finally got some new trailers for your viewing pleasure. Check out 'Riding Giants' and Michael Moore's 'Fahrenheit 9/11' on the Spiff Trailers page.
The computer's acting up again and it's only been like a month since my last reinstall. It likes to close things while I am working on them.
I downloaded the Soldiers: Heroes of World War II demo the other day to try it out. I saw it at E3 and it looks really nice. It looks like it is using the same engine as the Codename: Panzers demo I mentioned last month. I had the same problem with it that I had with Panzers with it crashing when I tried to play it. Panzers at least let me get like five minutes into the game before it crashed. Soldiers won't even let me out of the setup screens before it crashes. So here is my official review of Soldiers: Heroes of World War II demo. 'It has nice setup screens.'
Ok, enough updating for today. I manage to type like six words before my computer switches to a different program causing me to lose large sections I just typed and I don't feel like retyping all night.
