LAN! LAN! LAN! Not really but I could sure use one now. Of course I haven't even loaded all my games back on since the crash a couple of weeks ago anyway so a LAN now would catch me unprepared.

In the game demos department, a couple of new arrivals have hit the 'net that look pretty good. The single-player demo for Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory looks really nice in the screenshots. I've never played any of the other Splinter Cell titles but if I can find the time, it looks like it could be enjoyable. It features one mission and some tutorial videos. Check out the screenshots and in-game clips and download the 558 meg demo for yourself over on 3D Gamers.
Also available is the SWAT 4 single-player demo. This demo features one hostage mission and a level editor to make your own levels. Shweet! Get the 411 and 183 meg demo on 3D Gamers also.
