Doh! Some scumbag just upgraded his computer on my dime. Got a charge for 300 and something at Fry's/Outpost.com and a couple of other small charges to places I've never heard of. Hopefully he had the stuff mailed to him and the cops can trace it back to him.

In other news, my electric bill for last month was $1.96. I think I need to have my meter checked.

I've seen on a couple of websites that the Star Wars Kid is suing like everybody because he was too dopy to remove the tape from the videocamera after he filmed himself doing a Jedi warrior impression. i should be so lucky and have thought of it first. One guy that's not afraid to look goofy is the Watch Me Dance guy. Check out his latest clips here.

Work continues getting the server restored to it's original state. Thanks to egrep for his Linux skills in getting it all working again. I was able to get a couple of things working but I'm a long way from having the know-how he does.

NOPAL's modem fried itself the other day. A couple of months ago I saw a post on the DSL Extreme forum on Broadband Reports that mentioned his model of modem and it said the modem was bad and would fry itself. i told him about it and he called DSL Extreme to get a new modem but the guy there said, 'Oh no. That's a fine modem.' It's not so fine now. It's more like toast. he should be back up and running tomorrow if all goes well with the mail.

Woohoo! Super Trailer Wednesday. Check out Jim Caveziel as he chases a handicapped psycho across America in his 68 Plymouth Barracuda in Highwaymen.

Jack Black goes back to school to form a band to compete in a battle of the bands. It's Jack Black so it should be funny right? Or not. Check out the School of Rock trailer for yourself.

Oh yea. And a little movie called The Matrix: Revolutions. I had trouble viewing this online. You might want to just download it to your desktop to watch.

Auuurrggh!!! Had a small get-together over the weekend with some friends to play some games and share war stories and wouldn't you know it, the server crashed on Friday night at like 11 pm. egrep and Shaka were able to get it running again pretty quick on Saturday but I'm still ironing out some bugs and junk so some things might be acting funky for a bit. And then Saturday my gaming machine had issues with Battlefield 1942 so I spent a couple of hours on the side line. Spent that time fixing server junk so I wasn't just sitting around and I learned out some stuff to boot.

Woot! X Games gold for Travis Pastrana. Watch as he pulls three big backflips and a 360. Check out all the other awesome tricks that were pulled at the X Games this last week on the official X Games site!

Woohoo! Miramax after testing their whack version of Shaolin Soccer and getting bad reviews have decided to make only minor edits and run the original audio track with english subtitles. Thanks goes to a vocal group of Asian film fans who have been slamming Miramax and Disney for ruining previous releases of Iron Monkey and The Legend of Drunken Master. The film will also be in limited release around the country so get a group of your friends together and go check out this hilarious movie. Read the full article here. (Ain't It Cool News)

Most of the Deathcon gang has moved to Battlefield 1942 as the game of choice. It's a team game with all kinds of vehicles from jeeps and tanks to planes and choppers. It even has watercraft like boats and submarines. If you check the servers page, you might be able to find a couple of us on the DSL Extreme server. It's in the in-game browser but actually goes under the name [BBR] Desert Combat .38.

The Scary Movie franchise has turned to the guy that made that style of dopey humor funny, Leslie Nielsen. Check out the trailer for Scary Movie 3.
