Welcome to the DOH! Network — The Official Website of Johnny Leche.

Woot! Super Trailer Tuesday in the hizzizle! Not so super is the new Cat in the Hat trailer that I have no interest in seeing. Didn't like The Grinch and this looks like more of the same.

Ashton Kutcher gets serious for The Butterfly Effect and it's my pick o' the week. He's going back in time to change the present and just screwing everything up. Shweet!

Both clips are courtesy of QuickTime.com. Check them out for more great trailers.

Shaka Zulu's new website is coming along with it's first review of the demo Savage. The new URL is www.gamerepublic.com so remember to update your bookmarks. The change is most likely due to the constant harassment Shaka gets from members of the Zulu nation regarding his use of the name Shaka Zulu. Not to say that Shaka is backing down from a debate but I think he wants to debate Republicans now.

Tom Cruise fans can get a quick glimpse of a topless Cruise in The Last Samurai. The trailer is looking a lot better than the teaser released a couple of months ago. This movie may actually be ok.

Ben Stiller's latest flick looks like it could be pretty good. Check out ong_came_polly/' target='_blank'>Along Came Polly.

Finally a QuickTime version of the latest Resident Evil: Apocalypse trailer.

All these trailers and more can be seen on the Official QuickTime Website.

Shweet! Check out the new trailer for Dawn of the Dead. This is the one where a lot faster moving zombies have some survivors trapped in a mall.

So many demos, so little time. I haven't tried any of these yet but they look pretty good from what I've seen.

Halo: Combat Evolved (demo/screenshots) -- Microsoft's entry into the FPS arena now available for the PC.

Korea: Forgotten Conflict (demo/screenshots) -- Relatively new to the gaming scene, Plastic Reality Technologies' Korea: Forgotten Conflict has a top down 3D shooter along the lines of Warcraft powered by their own game engine.

Battle Engine Aquila (demo/screenshots) -- A sci-fi spacey shooter, this one looks like it could be a great game. Incredible looking graphics will require a heavy duty videocard. Hopefully it doesn't tank like Aquanox did. Sure it looked great but the gameplay was severly lacking.

Also available are clips for upcoming games like...

Driver 3 -- The original Driver is my favorite driving game of all time and Driver 3 looks to be staying true to the original with car handling and damage. It looks like developer Reflections Interactive is throwing in a little out-of-the-car stuff and motorcycle riding similar to Grand Theft Auto: Vice City too. You'll have to wait till spring 2004 to take the Lamborghini for a spin though.

Tribes: Vengeance -- I hated Tribes 1 but loved Tribes 2. I'll have to wait and see with the UT2003-powered Tribes: Vengeance if I like it or not. Epic Games will probably beat Irrational Games to store shelves with Unreal Tournament 2004 and both games are so similar that the Tribes franchise will probably fade into obscurity. There's a bunch of clips to check out on 3D Gamers but so far Epic's UT2004 clip looks a lot more exciting.

All these and more are available on www.3dgamers.com or other fine download sites but you'll have to search for them yourself on those other sites.

Hey! The Shaka-cam is online again!

Finally recouperated from the LAN I attended on Saturday. It was one of the better LANs I've been to. Started at 10 am and ended at midnight. For once I wasn't the one having all the computer problems which was nice for a change. A couple of the games we played had limits of 6 or 8 people per server and there were ten of us there so that was kind of a bummer and a couple of games wouldn't cooperate but we still had a full selection of games that we could play.

Inspired by the LAN, I have started a Desert Combat server up on Deathcon. Start up your Battlefield 1942 game and 'Add Server' > 'deathcon.com' and you should be able to jump into the game. Check to see if anybody's playing on the server by checking out the games server page.

New ATI Catalyst v3.8 drivers are available on the official ATI site. If you've got an ATI videocard in your computer, head on over and pick that up. (Action Trip)

Shweet! The site should be working for Netscape users again. Had to spend some time troubleshooting and it looks like it was a

tag in the footer that was stopping the site from working in older versions of Netscape. Luckily fixing one js file fixed the whole site. The Q3Plug page has been updated to make the Soldier of Fortune II servers use the Jedi Knight version of the plug-in because the Q3Plug isn't built to recognize SoF2 but since it's a Quake 3 engine game, it works the same as all Quake 3 games and this way I won't have to switch the route to the exe file when I want to play SoF2 or Quake 3.

Update to the site working in Netscape: I noticed while working on updating one page that Netscape has this bug where it adds a space to code at random and can break the site or make some HTML code show up. I thought this was an isolated thing at work because we are behind a firewall but it just happened here at home twice. Doh! Damn the Netscape! No Link for you!

Check out the multiplayer demo for UbiSoft's trick looking Unreal II-powered cell-shaded XIII. If you haven't heard anything about XIII, you can check out the official site for more info, screenshots and media clips. This comes just in time for the weekend if you were having a LAN or something.

Halle Bery's new movie Gothika looks pretty scary. Check out the official trailer on QuickTime.com.
