If you've ever listened to Los Angeles-based KROQ, you've no doubt heard Rodney on the ROQ at least once. He's in a new movie that's more a documentary on his life. Check out Mayor of the Sunset Strip. Finally Miramax is going to do something with Shaolin Soccer. It's going to be in select theaters starting April 2nd. How select I don't know. I did a search for a theater within 40 miles of me and found nothing.

In Columbia/Tristar's So Close, Shu Oi goes to the aid of a giant computer company mogul to save his computer system from a virus.She then calls her sister to aid her but they turn out to be professional assassins who kill the mogul and then this really intelligent cop shows up to stop them and then one of the assassins falls in love with the cousin of an old friend and decides she wants a career change and the guy that hired the assassins is having an affair with the mogul's wife and, worried that the assassins might lead the cops back to him, he hires them for another gig but secretly plans to rub them out too, and the cop has to team up with the assassins when they get double crossed, and this is beginning to sound like a soap opera. Ahhhh! Finally some trailers to really make this Super Trailer Tuesday! Today's episode is titled 'Big Frikkin' Monsters'.
I stumbled across this one today and it looked kinda cheesy at first with monster effects that look like those Ray Harryhausen classics we grew up with but then as the trailer progresses, you can see that the computer graphics look a lot better. Check out D-War now!!

Check this one out. Some good old fashioned martial arts action. No wires or special effects here. Ong Bak: Muay Thai Warrior is rumored to be Drunken Master 2 good if not better. Of the three choices on the trailer page, the first is a teaser, the second is the full trailer with french dubbing and the third is the full trailer again with the original audio and french subtitles. I just did a PHP script on another site for archiving news and it worked pretty well. I was thinking I should do it to my site but I may just switch the site to a blog when I change over to the new system. Hmmmm...
Ughh! The work just keeps coming from all sides. Too much stuff going on keeping me busy. Still trying to get the new server up and running but it's not the hottest item on the agenda right now.

I kinda bashed Denzel Washington's Man on Fire a couple of months ago but a new cut of the trailer is online and it's actually looking pretty good now so I give it 'The Action Trailer of the Day' award.
Will Ferrel's Anchorman is starting to get some buzz for being really funny.
There's new trailers for Van Helsing and Hellboy but there isn't much new content in either.
