Epic Games is giving away id Software's Rage 2 for free this week. After having to uninstall it twice to get it to install correctly, I was finally able to get in some play time. At first, I was thinking 'This isn't very Rage-y' thinking of the original Rage game. Now that I have to go underground and fight mutants I'm starting to see it is though. After the hours spent on the orignal Rage and similar game, Mad Max, I don't feel the need to play it that much. Not that it's a bad game, but I have a couple of games that are really similar and end up feeling like I am just grinding from one mission to the next. I have to meet some guy but before I do that, I have to become famous on the racing circuit. To build up my car, I have to fight mutants. over and over again. Maybe once I get to the part where the big monsters start to appear, my interest might change if I can make it that far. Hopefully it's not like the original Rage where there is only a couple of those big monsters.

Should have known after I blew it and sold my first chunk of stock and blew that that I am not good at playing the stock market. Stock I was given from my place of employment made some pretty good growth and I thought I should sell some and re-invest it and had a call with my investment guy for later in the week so I sold one big chunk. A couple of weeks later, teh stock went up alomst $40. had I just sold a small chunk at the current price before the call, I could have sold more later when it was up and made more. I have more company stock to sell but it doesn't expire until 2024 so I will take my time selling that.

Then yesterday, I had some other money in another investment firm and saw some stocks that were reported to be a good buy and they seemed to be doing well. I bought a bunch of those on Sunday, the market opened, teh price went up, the purchase went through, and the stock fell to like half. Great! I was hoping for some good news but now I will ahve to sit on these stocks and see if they improve when we are no longer in quarintine if that ever happens and the company doesn't go bankrupt before then.
